# DewLog — your skincare diary (UK)

> DewLog is an app (iOS + Android) for logging your skincare properly: the products you use morning and night, weekly progress photos, and what's actually working — over weeks, not days. A diary, not a shop: no ads, no affiliate links, nothing sponsored in your timeline.

## What DewLog does

- **Product library**: Catalogue your products — brand, type (cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser, sunscreen, mask), opened date and period after opening.
- **Morning & evening routines**: Build your routine step by step and tick each one off. A typical entry takes about eleven seconds because the app remembers your routine.
- **Weekly progress photos**: A camera guide fixes the framing so this week's photo lines up with last week's. Compare side by side — same light, same angle, no filters.
- **Skin & reactions**: Log how your skin is and flag reactions (stinging, breakouts, dryness). DewLog cross-references the last 72 hours and surfaces the likely culprits.
- **Ingredient analysis (Premium)**: Reads the INCI list and tracks which actives appear in your routine, then shows your own patterns. Your own data — not efficacy claims.

Progress photos are encrypted on your device by default and never leave it unless you export them. Optional cloud backup (off by default) is end-to-end encrypted — only you hold the key. UK GDPR compliant.
