What the app actually does.

Built for routines that take twelve minutes, not twelve seconds. No affiliate links, no upsells in the timeline, no "transformations". Just a record of what you used and what changed.

01 / 04

Log AM and PM routines — what you used, when.

Tap each step as you go. The app remembers your defaults so a typical morning logs in eleven seconds. Skip steps, swap products, or add notes like "stung a little around the nose."

A hand reaching for a glass dropper bottle on a marble vanity, half-shadow, mid-morning window light.
Three side-by-side portrait crops — cheekbone and jawline only — same neutral light, same head angle, labelled Week 0, Week 4, and Week 8.
02 / 04

Weekly progress photos — same light, same angle.

A camera overlay locks framing so this Sunday's portrait lines up with last Sunday's. Then four-up, eight-up, sixteen-up comparisons. The kind of side-by-side you can actually read.

Ingredient analysis — notice what correlates.

DewLog reads the back-of-bottle and tracks which actives are in your rotation each week. Over six weeks, it'll tell you something like: "On weeks you used niacinamide 5+ days, your redness photos rated 18% lower." No marketing claims, just your own data.

Macro of a single drop of clear serum spreading on a fingertip, soft peachy backdrop.
An open notebook on linen with a slim ballpoint pen, faint handwritten note reading 'stung — patch test next time' in soft daylight.
04 / 04

Reaction tracking — flag what stings.

A long-press on any step marks a reaction — burning, breakout, dryness, hives. DewLog cross-references the last 72 hours of products and ingredients and shows you the most likely suspects, ranked.

Eight weeks · One vanity

Pinned to the mirror, not lost in the camera roll.

The same crop, the same morning light, every Sunday. Side-by-side it's hard to lie to yourself — about what's working and what isn't.

Week 1 baseline portrait — lower face, mild redness near the nostril, natural Sunday-morning light.
Week 104 · 06
Week 2 portrait — same crop and light, slightly calmer redness around the nose.
Week 211 · 06
Week 4 portrait — same crop and light, smoother texture and more even tone.
Week 425 · 06
Week 8 portrait — same crop and light, clear improvement: hydrated, luminous, even-toned skin.
Week 823 · 07
This is what eight weeks on retinol might look like.

The vanity Q & A

Asked, answered.

The questions we get most often — about privacy, ingredients, and how the analysis actually works. Email start@djump.io if yours isn't here.

A good one logs your steps, the product, and how your skin feels — morning and night — without becoming a chore. DewLog does exactly that: a typical entry takes eleven seconds because the app remembers your routine. Over time you get an honest record you can actually read, week by week.
Yes — DewLog's daily logging and 7-day history are free, forever. Premium (£3.19/mo) adds unlimited history, weekly photo comparison, and ingredient analysis. No ads, no affiliate links, no products sold in your timeline.
Log it and let the weeks add up. DewLog keeps same-light, same-angle progress photos and tracks which actives were in your rotation, so you can see — rather than guess — whether your routine is doing anything. Most actives take four to twelve weeks, not days.
Usually a few weeks at least — long enough for your skin to settle and for a fair before-and-after. DewLog logs the day you started it and lines up your photos, so you can judge whether that £42 moisturiser earned its place rather than relying on memory.
It works for whatever routine you keep. Two steps or twelve, a cleanse-acid-hydrate-treat order or your own — DewLog logs what you use and looks for patterns. It has no opinion on the method; it just records it faithfully.
Progress photos are stored encrypted on your device by default and never leave it without an explicit export. Optional cloud backup (off by default) is end-to-end encrypted with a key only you hold. We can't see your photos, and neither can anyone we work with.
